Eileen Ditch, Watercolorist from Henderson Harbor, has been interested in figures for many years. A retired banker, who talked figures daily, now creates them in some of her paintings.
Eileen studies with accomplished watercolorists Mel Stabins, Tony VanHasselt, Janet Rogers, Pat Weaver, Lynn Ferris, Jackii Molsick, and Susan Grogan. She is a member of the Central Florida Watercolor Society, the Eustis Art League and the Mount Dora Center for the Arts, all in Florida. She currently holds the position of Director and Co-Treasurer of AANNY, or Sackets Harbor Arts Center.
She has taught beginning private and public watercolor classes in Florida and locally in Jefferson and Oswego County. Eileen is best known for painting chickens and roosters, though enjoys painting animals of every kind. You may view and purchase her work at the Sackets Harbor Arts Center, Salmon River Fine Arts and The Mill House in Pulaski, and at the Bay Artisans' Shop on James St. in Alexandria Bay.
