Membership Information

The Arts Association of Northern New York (AANNY) is a non-profit organization that relies on and exists for the benefit of our artists, patrons and community. Membership in AANNY comes with many benefits and volunteering with us is a great way to get involved in and support the arts! You do not have to be an artist to join. 

Membership benefits include:

• Newsletters covering all our events and e-mails announcing classes and special events.
• Discounts on workshops / classes sponsored by AANNY.
• Reduced entry fee at AANNY’s Art Show and our Plein Air Event.
• Invitations to AANNY’s members-only receptions.
• Ability to display your artwork in our gallery and gift shop.
• 10% off custom framing only (not prints) at Focal Point Custom Framing, Coffeen St., Watertown.
• 20% off non-sale items at Commercial Art Supply, Erie Blvd., E. Syracuse.

Artwork Jury Notice

• The Sackets Harbor Artwork Committee will jury items up for consideration to be placed for sale in the Sackets Harbor Arts Center (Arts Association of Northern NY).
• New members must submit photos of items or present examples to the art committee before being consigned for sale.
• Current members must present photos of examples of new, different items than those they have consigned previously.
• The committee will base their decision on originality, creativity, quality, presentation, and overall impression.
• All artworks must be the artist’s own work. If a piece was done for a class, it must be labeled as such.
• All gift shop items must be handcrafted by the artist.
• Member artists must present clear photos of the artwork to be considered.
• The committee will consider the artwork and notify the member artist of their decision.

Levels of Membership:

• Individual - $35.00  
• Student (Full-time students up to 20 years old) - $15.00
• Military - $20.00
• Senior (65 and over) - $20.00
• Family - $60.00
